  Resource access security is traditionally the applications' responsibility to determine from the nature of the request, the requester profile, as well as the available information.

  Resource Access Control can now be offloaded to dedicated processes, to optimized network appliances providing advanced entitlement services.


• Infrastructure
  Not only freeing expensive application server resources, this more importantly frees applications from security configuration dependencies.


• Operation
  New profile types can be added at run-time, without having to modify the applications, retest, and redeploy them.


• Independence
  Application Resources can now be defined outside of any specific applications, available to each entitled agent or user, as well as shared with other applications.

  Resource generalization optimizes the resource management and publishing processes.

  Security configurations can now be changed at run-time, with unlimited granularity, offering more flexibility, security, agility, and responsiveness.
